Professional Teeth Cleanings (Prophylaxis)
To protect your teeth and ensure that they are healthy, Dr. Allred provides routine dental cleanings. He recommends that patients receive cleanings at least twice a year to prevent disease and other oral health concerns.
For the cleaning, Dr. Allred uses professional tools to eradicate plaque and tartar buildup from the teeth. He will then polish the teeth to help remove stains and discoloration. In some instances, a fluoride treatment may be included to strengthen the enamel of the teeth. Bite Analysis

Tooth extractions can be performed in an emergency procedure after trauma or injury, or to prevent a future problem, such as with wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Allred provides extractions for patients who are experiencing pain and discomfort or have an infection caused by a tooth that is damaged beyond repair. In some cases, a surgical extraction may be required, but simple extractions are also performed if the tooth appears above the gum line.
Before any extraction, Dr. Allred will administer a dental exam and take digital X-rays to determine the extent of the damage.
